Our Solutions
When your facility incorporates pallet racking into the equation, it is vital to minimize the risk of injury and damage. Pallet systems can be inherently dangerous due to their structure, height, weight, and width. Pallet racking safety can save you thousands of dollars in lawsuits and medical bills should an incident occur.
Pallet rack systems are designed to store and organize products of both small and large sizes and weights. These high-performance equipment pieces are designed to hold dozens of times their own weight. Each pallet racking system must follow design specifications and standards to ensure they are properly built and used. These specifications are taken into account during the initial construction and design.
If the pallet rack systems’ integrity is compromised or damaged, injuries and damage to the products can occur.
Our Solutions
We pride ourselves in our qualified team members who are designated to inspect that all pallet racking systems are well-maintained, preserved, and without damage. We aim to keep you and your employees safe during their course of work.
The four conditions for pallet racking systems must be inspected for:
The owner of the pallet racking systems is responsible for properly maintaining the systems to prevent damage to the integrity of the racking system. Any visible rack damage must be unloaded promptly and maintained back to original safety standards. If the damage is beyond repair, a new pallet racking system must be purchased and the old one immediately discarded.
Pallet rack inspections must be employed where the employer implements a program of consistently scheduled storage rack system inspections of all pallet racks. A qualified person must spearhead the storage rack inspections, design, and installation requirements based on OSHA standards and guidelines.

ANSI MH16.2: 2012 – Specification for the Design, Testing, and Utilization of Industrial Steel Storage Racks
This code is a standard that applies to all industrial pallet rack systems whether they are cold-formed or hot-rolled steel. The International Building Code (IBC) has now incorporated the requirements of pallet racking systems to meet their standards in addition to obtaining a local municipal building permit approval throughout the pallet racking design and construction.
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Construction standard 1926.250(a)(1) states that all materials in the pallet racking system tiers must be racked, stacked, blocked, or otherwise secured to prevent any instance of collapse, falling, or sliding.
No materials shall create any hazards and thus prompt attention must be paid to all pallet racking systems to detect damage to any industrial units. Employers and owners are required to provide their employees with proper training. They are additionally required to provide a safe and hazard-free environment that protects their employees from risks of injury or death.
With a diverse product line including conveyor systems, cranes, storage and shelving systems, mezzanines, containers and much more, we are truly your one stop shop for your material handling needs.
